Draycote Water Update Report Thursday 30th October 2014
Draycote Water continues in good form maintaining a rod average of 3.34 for the first three days of this week. Ninety nine rods have caught a total of 331 fish. Bank anglers are enjoying sport on buzzers & nymphs still as well as a variety of fry imitating patterns. Dave Adkins managed 15 in Toft on Tuesday. Yesterday, Kevin Rees took 21 from the bank to buzzers presented on a washing line. Paul Beasley concentrated his efforts on the fry feeders & netted 11 rainbows – all to floating fry patterns dead drifted across the ripple. Tony Parker stayed afloat and took eight good rainbows to 5lbs 8oz on Crunchers fished in conjunction with a Sparkler Booby. Tom Gay also managed to net a dozen on his boat session.
Prospects look good for the weekend and there remains both boat & bank availability. Please contact the lodge on O1788 812018 to pre-book your boats or bank vehicle permits.
